We’ve heard the phrase so many times ‘You are what you eat’ but how true is it and do we actually take any notice of this saying? There have been a number of studies that have shown that certain nutrients can make you feel or act a certain way. This video gives a quick insight into this http://ow.ly/2hYA1.
So if we really are what we eat why don’t we pay more attention to the food we put in our mouth on daily basis?
Organic food, often comes at a higher price which can be a deterrent for weekly shoppers, however when it comes to health it may just be worth spending that little extra cash. Besides the great taste of organic food, which for me beats GM food everytime, there is also the benefit it has to the environment and to your health. Recently there has been a growing concern for the levels of pesticide residue found in food after harvesting or storage. They have been linked to various health risks including allergies, asthma, leukaemia and even cancer. So how do we avoid it?
Simple…eat organic! Studies have shown that organic food can contain up to 80% less pesticide residue than other food. To me the health and well-being of me and my family is definitely worth a couple of extra pence.

So with this in mind I am pleased to say that our organic ice lollies not only give you a great refreshing taste but also offer a healthier option to other lollies on the market, not forgetting contributing to 1 of your 5 a day!
And as a little treat to help you enjoy the final months of summer :( why not enjoy a free trip to Thorpe Park http://ow.ly/2p7DO
